Location choices and pictures
Churchdown SchoolThe use of Churchdown School was always going to be a part of our trailer. It is a perfect choice as all the crew are familiar with the site, as they are all on site most days. Secondly it will allow us to create brilliant shadow affects and long shots using the long hallways and dark corners. It will also be the location in which our main character works, so ideally a large number of shots will be filmed there. Schools are generally seemed safe as the have large doors and secure walls, however, once the antagonist begins haunting/chasing her, it will give the impression that she is trapped inside. The school will be used as a collage in our trailer as the victim is older and attends said collage. This will improve the trapped ambience as it would be a site where the victim attends regularly.

Churchdown ParkFirstly we decided to use the local park as it would be of great reliability and ease, due to its location being close to all our crew. A park is usually a place of safety and fun, however, we will use it to portray unease and super natural beings. Thus it will confuse and intrigue the viewer to uncover more, as the situation does not match the scene. The use of this location will be key at the beginning of the trailer, where small but noticeable acts of the antagonist appear. It will allow us to tease and use the equipment on site, like the swings, to portray an unnatural occurrence. For example, the swing appears to be moving when no one is around to make it move.

River's HouseThe use of River's house allows us to film the necessary scenes which include a few lines of dialog. It can also provide us with a home background for a few shots which can help the story develop. Shots that contain conversation between two characters will be filmed here as, firstly, there will be less objects in the background so the focus will be on the two characters talking. Secondly it will allow small changes to appear that are haunting, thus building tension of the story and highlighting another location which is unsafe.

Churchdown FieldThe use of the school field will be extremely useful when initiating extreme long shots and regular long shots. It would be easy to film chase scenes as the large open space allows all the attention to be focused on the victim and the killer. We can also film single mid shot scenes where the victim runs away, a short short containing a figure running across the screen would make a great transition. As well as this, the field can help create the feeling of the victim being trapped and that there are miles to travel until she will be safe.

Churchdown StreetsFinally the use of Churchdown streets will be a key aspect in conversation as well as transition scenes. The streets portray a sense of business and unknowing about the world, picturing the victim as a small, powerless person in a large world. The use of this site can also be used to set the story, as discussions between the victim and her friend between locations, can be shot there.
